What: Reef Watchers
Come learn and practice how to identify fish, limu, corals and other sea creatures. You will also learn how to count species and keep data. Bring swimsuit, towel, snorkel, mask, waterbottle, lunch for a day of sun, water, and underwater exploration. 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult
When: Saturday, November 12th 9am-2pm
Where: Richardson Beach
What you need to do:
1. Call Jan or Sarah Moon at 935-3475 to register, its free, but they need an idea of who is coming.
2. Go and participate Saturday November 12
3. Write a short paper answer these questions:
- Who were the instructors?
- What did you learn?
- What were 10 different species that you saw during your expedition, and give me a brief description of at least 5?
- Personal statement
Turn it in before Thanksgiving break for a possible 20 extra credit points
