Blood Type Lab



Today in class we:
Worked on blood type genetics problem
Performed blood type lab in which we determined the blood type and Rh factors of 4 individuals as well as conducted blood cell counts of simulated blood smears.

Homework due Wednesday:
Complete post lab analysis questions and have labs complete to turn in on Wednesday

Human Genetics


Welcome back from Spring Break!

Today in class we:
- made grade goals for 4th quarter
- reviewed concepts of chromosomes: autosomes vs. sex chromosomes, karyotypes
- introduced pedigrees and practiced using a pedigree

pg 343: Problem Solving (all steps) due Wednesday
